Is there something that we have to configure in the set up of the WiiM pro to allow for the audio signal to be sent via ethernet cable? I noticed that there are options for selecting digital cable or optical cable in device set up, but I don’t see anything that allows us to select for ethernet?

Not sure I understand correct. In the device menu you can chose Ethernet in the Audio Input section.

Connect the Ethernet cable and you're done.

Your route should be configured to assign an IP address automatically and the allowed address ta he must not have been exhausted, of course. The default settings of the router should most certainly work.

Anything streaming from the Internet or your local network connected devices will use the Ethernet cable if connected. Just start your stream (radio, Spotify, Tidal, etc) and the WiiM will load the audio data from the network via the Ethernet.

If an Ethernet cable is connected that will be used else WiFi will be used.

I was also defaulting to bluetooth when opening my Tidal app on my desktop when I wanted to be using my ethernet input. FWIT, I was able to open my tidal app and set it to Ethernet and the Wiim Pro Amp complied and now glows white.

Somehow, I've managed to set my Wiim amp’s remote to utilize the four presets to play different playlists using my Amazon Music, via ethernet.

I actually can't remember exactly how i set it up….
And it seems like everytime either app is updated, they get confused about how they work together…
