As you've posted this in a thread about a blu ray player I'm assuming it's related to something similar.

Using the UBPx7000 with a coax to optical converter. The same one mentioned in the thread. When I play a SACD the wilm shows that it’s 16/44.1 I was hoping for at least 24/96. Maybe I’m doing something wrong.

I notice in its manual that there’s a music setting to choose between playing the SACD playback layer or the CD layer, as well as a setting for the digital output resolution. What do you have for these settings?

Perhaps it is a limit of the Coax-Optical Converter. Have you successfully received greater than 16/44.1 from that converter using any other source??

I have not as I bought it for this purpose. I also bought it because someone in the thread had mentioned earlier that it works for them. Either way I’ll attempt a different method. Appreciate your help.
