Searching Qobuz for Dead & Company in WiiM app returns no results. Search by the wrong name Dead and Company it returns Dead & Company results.
I am confused.

Can you do that with streamed files? I had no idea.

Sorry, I didn't look closely enough but thought you were dealing with local files. Still, probably a metadata issue, only at their end of things. One more thought is that filenames generally cannot include symbols like an ampersand so names with them often substitute "and" in its place. So, depending on how things get searched for, the file nomenclature and the metadata, you can easily end up with the situation you describe.

Your search for "Dead & Company" seems to have an extra space after Dead. I don't know if that would cause the issue.

This must be a Qobuz issue. Even if I search for something like "Dead. & Company", the artist is found on Tidal.



I think the search is by one word at the time? "company dead" also find the artist.
