Hi
I am trying to play my library from my laptop using foobar and dlna but no matter what i try my foobar cannot see the wiim ultra. In the same network, my android phone can see it. Can anyone suggest what to try? Thanks

Do you have the “UPnP MediaRenderer Output” component installed and can you see any other UPnP players on your network?

I notice there’s also a “UPnP/DLNA Renderer, Server, Control Point” component which would appear to make your foobar library visible as a upnp server to the WiiM home app - do you maybe have that instead?

Do you have the WiiM-specific settings in your foobar?

Any of those components are obsolete as they either only work on the old 32bit version of foobar or are already included in the standard package.

Yes, sorry before asking i have spent 2 days trying everything... I am posting because i ran out of ideas to try really...
Also the reason for foobar is because my sacd iso collection

Just opening the page is enough of a test

So it seems to be a UPnP discovery issue. Is your Ultra on WiFi, and if so is it being served by the same access point as another UPnP renderer that has been listed in foobar?

It might be worth checking discovery with Jriver's UPnP renderer analyser: https://www.whitebear.ch/dmra.htm
