I assume in that scenario Public is the share and Music a folder within it, but I've never used that syntax and it appears that WiiM doesn't support it.

I'm surprised you're still asking about it; haven't you tried it yet?

If you want to use the WHA for browsing then use Plex, otherwise use Symfonium with any compatible server (including Emby).

On Linux I created the folders:
/data/Music

and the share:
[dataMusic]
path = /data
...

When trying to access the share \\10.0.0.2\data\Music on Windows I'm presented with the message 'Windows cannot access \\10.0.0.2\data\Music', whereas it works using \\10.0.0.2\dataMusic (as it should given that's the share name) so I think there must be something else going on. Does \\10.0.0.2\data connect?

If you change the path of the dataMusic share (to a path not beginning with /data) is the new path reflected when reconnecting to \\10.0.0.2\data\Music?
