Feedback on Beta Testing

Hi @RyanWithWiim, @WiiM Team, @WiiM Support,

I have a small suggestion regarding the beta tester feature of the WHA.
How about a Feedback and My Tickets icon in the firmware tab in the "Select Beta Firmware" section?

1) Feedback icon

If tap this icon,

• You will be redirected to the Send Feedback screen.
• Information about the beta test will be auto-insert in the subject and description (red).
• The user adds a summary in the subject line, and a summary and detail in the description (blue).

You may also include an abbreviated prefix such as "[BT]" in the subject line. The choose type defaults to "other " or "Beta test". Firmware information is auto inserted in the header of the description.

2) My Tickets icon

If tap this icon, lists previous tickets for only relevant beta.

(Only tickets submitted for Dolby 5.1 beta testing are listed here).

Or, you can view search results for beta test names on the Ticket Center web page.
(Personally, I find this method more convenient as it allows for auto translation.)

I hope this feature will make it easier for beta testers to communicate with team, and help team streamline ticket management .

Note that if it is difficult to place these icons on the individual firmware tabs, can be placed on the firmware description screen.

He could even become an additional Moderator, or Community Curator, and help out the community in other ways.

Good suggestion but he stated before he doesn’t want any of that title on his name. From what I’m seeing from his country people there work extended hours and hardly any time for themselves. Could it be people work for @Wiimer that’s why he has alot of time on his hand?

I can never remember which of my wiims is running a beta, let alone which beta - might be nice for an easy way to see this without having to go to the Settings / Device Info / Join Beta Testing screen for every device.
e.g. maybe something on each card in the main Devices screen or even just in the ...More / Firmware Updates screen.

And it would be useful if selecting a device on that more/firmware page took you direct to its device settings - I still find it annoying there aren’t shortcuts like that throughout the app.
