Firmware update for one device - but not the other

Hi everyone

I have Two Wiim Pro devices
One in the kitchen
Another in the lounge

Via the WHA, I got notified of a new firmware update for the Kitchen one only
Where as the Lounge device is still sitting on the older version
(Normally it would update both devices at the same time)

Any ideas why?

I have been waiting for a few days to see if the Lounge device would get the new update
But it has not been the case

I live in Australia and I have found that when there is a new update available, I get notified in WHA on Friday evenings
So perhaps I need to wait till next Friday evening and see if firmware notification comes thru for my Wiim Lounge.

It's not a big issue - so I haven't raised a ticket with Wiim Support.
But I ask here - in case there a simple answer.

Perhaps it will sort itself out when a new firmware comes out for both Kitchen and Lounge

It's not uncommon for my 3 Pros to get an update 2-3 days apart.
Right now only one of my 3 is showing the latest update as being available.
It should hit your 2nd one soon, assuming it's not on a beta firmware.

WiiM has never defined how they segment their Staged Rollouts. We know that Regionality is a factor. But I suspect MAC Address or Internal Serial Numbers are also involved - my "older" Pro Plus always seems to see its update 12-24 hours before its "younger" sibling.

Thank you to you both. This is good to know. Yes I did wonder if it had to do with roll-out per Mac Address/Serial numbers. It's a bit odd as normally both update at the same time. Tho perhaps that's is not always true. I will just see what happens

Happens to me as well with two Ultras, I also suspect something along the lines of older units being updated first. But a day or two later the second Ultra receives the new update.
