Help I cannot work out a logical way to use this speaker

What music service are you using? Some like Spotify and Pandora will play other artists.

Tried Amazon and Spotify but this was playing as expected until today

I don’t; are you telling me I have to subscribe to a service?

Yes. If you don't and are only using a free service, say Amazon Music or Spotify, all you'll get is random tracks and maybe ads. If you want to play full albums, or tracks on request, you'll need to subscribe to one service or another. This is nothing to do with WiiM by the way, the same will happen on any device

Also, what was playing as expected previously? Did you sign up for a free trial with some service?
