How do I select just 1cd to play in albums with multiple cd’s?

How are you playing the 'cd', e.g. which streaming service?
Maybe I don't understand the issue - what's stopping you from finding and choosing the version you want?

Presuming you have your ripped CDs stored locally, sent to WiiM by media server software? If so then you can configure this in your media server, e.g. MinimServer has an option for multi disc albums so that when served to WiiM you can select any disc individually.

If you give more details about how exactly you're accessing your music then we can advise further.

use tagging.

Tag the first CD 1/2
second CD 2/2
total discs 2

Hi..thanks for the replies. This issue is for streaming services only. My local files I do seperately…or just ignore the bonus stuff.
I use Qobuz and find that a lot of albums have been replaced by deluxe versions with extra ‘cd’s’ of bonus material. I usually only want the main cd not the extras…but I can only select the whole deluxe collection..not the individual disks.

There's no way around this with streaming services ... except for manually building your own playlist consisting of the original album songs, only.

Lot's of work.

Or just install the best media server IN THE WORLD, I'm sure it can force Qobuz to do this for you.
