Hi,
Now I am using Wiim pro plus and have a question.
Is there any way to limit music data resolution up to 96khz in case selecting Line output?
I know optical and coax have the option but no option for Line output.

Thanks for comment.

Background is, now I try to mod my device and currently can play up to 96khz files/data.
I will try to solve the issue but I would have used it as it is now if there is such a function or settings.

Ok, what I did is getting digital music data from closer place to DAC chip and input to external DAC as Mod.
But there is no sound when I played 192khz but still the external DAC showed correct frequency. Other are working fine.

In other words, you didn't modify the pro plus, you broke it?

No, again, it still works up to 96khz.
Your DAC supports up to 192khz, right?

You might be able to do that by connecting a DDC that supports up to 96khz between the WiiM and the DAC, but I don't know.

However in my opinion, a Pro plus that cannot play 192khz on Amazon Music is already broken. I think it would be safer to revert back to the original if possible.

My first wiim pro had an issue on the optical output. It would play up to 96khz ok from Amazon but 192 would have no sound. I found that wiggling the optical cable at the connector on the wiim would cause it to cut in and out like a flakey connection. A replacement unit fixes the problem.

If there was no problem with the coaxial out, it may have been an early failure of the socket for the optical out..

In the OP's case, I think the modification was made to extract the digital signal from the analog line output, not the optical.

Ok. I wasn't totally clear on the circumstances but the symptoms sounded like what I experienced so I threw it out there just in case.

I’m still confused why you think this will be an improvement when there already are adequate digital outputs from the Pro Plus 🤷‍♂️
