Amazon Music Large volume change using phone hardware volume controls

I tried controlling Amazon Music from the Amazon Music Android app for the first time and noticed the volume change was 10 for each click of the phone volume controls. This is obviously far too big a step so is there a way to change it?

I haven’t tried this as I have all my WiiM devices set to fixed volume and control volume via my amp, but I wonder if it’s an AlexaCast/Alexa restriction as echo devices’ volume are done in 10% steps?

If you have a Samsung phone then you can. Go to galaxy store and download good lock, then in goodlock look for sound assistant and download . Then in the settings of sound assistant you can change step volume. Hope that helps.

I have been using Amazon music for 7 years now and this app has been a clunker to this day.
