Sound waves travel 34cm in 1ms time.
REW tool suggests it in 0.1ms time. We can't use this as it is.
I get different values every time I use auto sync.

These two observations are not related.

Auto sync uses the microphone built into the WiiM device, not the phone's microphone (nor any external microphone connected to the phone). Unless you have the WiiM right on your lap when performing auto sync it won't be able to pick up the delay between main speakers and subwoofer in your listening position anyway.

Needless to tell that the difference in delay caused by this design is far greater than any restriction of accuracy related to 1 ms steps. The most likely reason for inconstant auto sync results is a very low crossover frequency.

Wit wave lengths at the crossover frequency typically being 3.4 m or more, I think that a precision of a tenth of that is sufficient. Finding the exact "acoustic center" of a subwoofer close to a wall usually takes some trial and error anyway.

Is this a difficult feature? Does it really need to be discussed in depth? I just want to use the REW tool. If possible, just change it to enter the decimal point.

You've made your point. Now the community can vote for it. Or decide to not do so.

If you want to contact WiiM directly better send them feedback through the WiiM Home app.

I have upvoted this for you. I agree that the granularity of this adjustment needs to be improved. I also believe that the auto-sync functionality for the bass management also needs correcting where the delay is measured from the MLP and not at the streamer itself. This hopefully can benefit the many users of the bass management in the WiiM. They also really ought to provide some options/control over the crossover slope steepness, even if filter type is not controllable.

As it stands, it (the integrated bass management) sucks, so I just use a miniDSP to handle it instead, but that's an expensive way to fix something that should be very simple to improve on the part of LinkPlay/WiiM.

I have generated a ticket but there is no answer and it is not proceeding.
You cannot order new features. ;) It's still WiiM's own decision if and when to implement them.

Did you read the email you got when sending your feedback? It tells you to reply to it if you want to be kept in the loop as it is processed. Otherwise WiiM support will only contact you if they fell that there is a need for further exchange of information.
