I opened a ticket about my issue and the auto reply email advised asking here too:
I am new to Wiim, got a Wiim Pro Plus yesterday for the vintage hifi, and I find that it works great/sounds awesome streaming to my old stereo via Line Out.
But when I stop playing, and Wiim goes idle: when I later resume, there is no audio. Spotify thinks it is streaming to Wiim, and Wiim app thinks it is receiving stream and sending to Line Out, but amp receives nothing (crickets).
Reboot of Wiim device via Wiim app restores audio out. But only until I stop playing again!
I don't find any posts about this exact problem, but it seems might be related in some way to Ultra Line Out no sound and No sound via Line out but they don't describe this (works, then breaks on idle, then fixes each reboot)
Any ideas?
