So, if the question was if ifi bring a listenable advantage my answer is no.
Now, my benchmark for the wiim mini is a 5v apple charger (good as far as measurements, could be better on some metrics) . Apple charger has not something negative. I cannot test ifi at home. So either you want to "hide" that you found sonic improvements or you paid for something comparatively very expensive for no reason.

the small old original non-counterfeit 1A from apple seems a good candidate for this use indeed.. not very expensive and often abandoned at the bottom of the drawers..
will give them meaning

That's the Mini FFT spectrum on the analog output when in idle, and quite good SMPS is used:
None of those spikes are still visible when the Mini plays anything, even the dithered silence content:

Just no spikes shown in idle, that's the only difference:
The same result when using Allo Nirvana with the earthed DC output. And spikes reduced when in floating mode.
but the noise floor is much lower, it seems to me.. isn't it?

Unfortunately no fresh data here.
If it's really genuine and if you're lucky. I have 2 of those Apple chargers, both look genuine. I've measured 460 mV Vpp ripple noise for one of them and 120 mV Vpp for another one.

It is the a1400 found inside the iPhone package . You can still buy genuine, they are available.
devious observation which allows when to note that the powerbank remains the quietest solution in this case .. but nothing new ..
an interest or not for our wiim.. I don't know...
but confirms the interest of this kind of solution for devices such as cosmos etc.

A1400 are quite seldom actually, A2118 became more common.
Nirvana is less noisy than my powerbank
and now..you need test différents.. powerbank..
probably somes differences too
example..
the power supply via my old asus laptop seems a little more interesting than a samsung powerbank that I tested..

me .. at the simplest .. I noticed that all the basic compact transformers that I took out of the cupboards in 2A 2.1 and more for this use .. they are found noisier than some of my old 1A on comparable load ..
probably a tech thing...
so the idea in the basic case of the most powerful "will always be more-better"
it is to verify factually...
