Linear power supply

The seller today informed me that ifi was out of stock and will be for at least 20 days. Therefore I cancelled the order. My system is roksan attessa integrated, wiim mini optical out fed by an apple charger 5v a1400 and a belkin braided usb a to usb c cable, supra 2.5 spc power cable, audioquest pearl optical, elac carina bs243.4 speakers. and supra ply 3.4s ( I have not connected the extra screen, therefore they are effectively supra 3.4 without s). I use an emos 4way surge protection power strip. What is my weak link? The streamer?
What is the problem?

So I don't get it. If there is no problem, what are you trying to fight with?
Well ok I understand your logic. But if I can extract even more resolution, even better timbre, even blacker backgrounds, even tighter bass with some tweaks and without over spending why not do it?

Even the most expensive system will have a "weak" link, latest after a few "weeks" 😉
My wife calls this disease Upgradeditis. The pure desire for something new. Keeps the industry running. Win - win!
I want to avoid that! I am seeking for tweaks mainly...

But you do not feel you lack anything as you said there is no problem. If you are looking for something new which could make your impressions better, the only way is to borrow and test something, as the result is going to be very subjective. What about the room acoustic, is it polished?
Find someone who can do some measurements of your system and you will get objective information regarding the room of improvements.

but what types of music do you really listen to?
(it is easy to unbalance a budget system that is considered homogeneous .. the essential being what the acoustics of the room allows)

By the way..I remember the Attessa as a streaming amp. What is wrong with Bluesound?
I have the non streaming version. It has a dac which I use and bluetooth which is good but not lossless. So I prefer the mini over its bluetooth.

The restriction is that I cannot do anything related to room treatments and different speaker placement (at least currently).

1.classical music 2.audiophile stuff blues/jazz 3. 80s music 4.classic rock

So DSP is your friend but you have to identify weak points of your acoustic first - do measurements with the proper mic and software like REW. Or buy a room acoustic correction system like Dirac.

So if I buy something like mini dsp flex, can I use it to automatically measure the space with a mic and then apply eq to the sound, without having to insert parameters manually? Do I need to pay for dirac extra?

Dirac is the additional license paid in case of Flex, but you can think about miniDSP DDRC-22D which is out of the box Dirac digital processor.

Or miniDSP Flex "digital edition" with the additional Dirac license and UMIK microphone.

At least identification of L wire in the wall socket and wiring in the cable if detachable as L-N can be swapped inside. IEC 13/14 plugs/sockets have wire marking usually.

you have to do the check...
systematically..
;-)
but often this perceives very well ... without measurement of leakage ..
(and it just costs a modest voltmeter that can be very useful elsewhere ;-))

there are sufficient multimeters for a few euros ...
and the manipulation in chaining is interesting...
and the tensions often observed are edifying.
it is much more meaningful than not new phase observation devices..
like "pencils etc"..
it's not new..
was quite normal that we create "audiophile" products for this modest observation..
hihi

It's not a matter of believing. A phase order can affect the audio chain even in audible manner sometimes.
My SMPS ncore amp measures differently when phases are swapped. It's not audible but perfectly visible with a proper measurement instrument.

A recommendation, if you really believe in phasing. It is not so expensive, easy to use for people without a multimeter. Here in Germany most dealers lend it for a few days and few money. But you need a strong faith in voodoo. Or in ASR ;)

I find that very often it is heard...

but OK..
just remove this strip and do the phases...
is not "consumption push"

asr?
