Didn't someone test the methodology and found the stress of it probably masks differences that ordinarily WOULD be obvious?

I currently have a Wiim Pro and upgraded the power supply with Allo Shanti. It has made a significant improvement in sound quality. Now I want to buy Wiim Ultra but it has a different terminal for the power chord. Can someone tell me if or how I can connect the Allo Shanti to Wiim Ultra?

Every device in which I've replaced a cheap switch mode power supply with a linear regulated power supply has made a noticeable improvement in SQ.

One reason I bought the WiiM Pro+ is the fact that it uses an external wall wort which is easily replaced with a linear PSU.

I don't know if there is a kit to replace the Ultra's internal PSU with a linear yet.

There are kits to replace the built in power supply of my Node with an external linear but they cost as much as the Node itself.
