I have the non streaming version. It has a dac which I use and bluetooth which is good but not lossless. So I prefer the mini over its bluetooth.By the way..I remember the Attessa as a streaming amp. What is wrong with Bluesound?
1.classical music 2.audiophile stuff blues/jazz 3. 80s music 4.classic rockbut what types of music do you really listen to?
(it is easy to unbalance a budget system that is considered homogeneous .. the essential being what the acoustics of the room allows)
So DSP is your friend but you have to identify weak points of your acoustic first - do measurements with the proper mic and software like REW. Or buy a room acoustic correction system like Dirac. The restriction is that I cannot do anything related to room treatments and different speaker placement (at least currently).
So if I buy something like mini dsp flex, can I use it to automatically measure the space with a mic and then apply eq to the sound, without having to insert parameters manually? Do I need to pay for dirac extra? So DSP is your friend but you have to identify weak points of your acoustic first - do measurements with the proper mic and software like REW. Dirac is the additional license paid in case of Flex, but you can think about miniDSP DDRC-22D which is out of the box Dirac digital processor. So if I buy something like mini dsp flex, can I use it to automatically measure the space with a mic and then apply eq to the sound, without having to insert parameters manually? I find that very often it is heard...A recommendation, if you really believe in phasing. It is not so expensive, easy to use for people without a multimeter. Here in Germany most dealers lend it for a few days and few money. But you need a strong faith in voodoo. Or in ASR
