I follow you with pleasure and interest, but I don't understand how to access the LMS EQ. I activated the two plugins that were reported to me, but I can't find any trace of them in the LMS Skin.

Depends which skin you are using. In default skin it should be in the Home menu below Favourites. In Material skin you need to enter Settings/Interface and select it.

I found it, but it is out of player. I’ll try if while the player is playing I can, in real time, setting the EQ. I have two EQ, what is in your opinion the more effective?

I only tried SqueezeDSP which I think is newer than SqueezeboxEQ. Why don't you want to use WiiM EQ?

I don’t do loud I haven’t stressed an amp for decades, but I hadn’t considered what could happen in the digital arena. I wonder if there’s some way to predict this happening.

There is some safeguarding advice right here in this forum, at least.

We still have to wait.and see how the Ultra really handles it, but here is what you can consider with current WiiM devices:

NB:
If you are planning to use any other input than WiFi/Ethernet, you will want to use WiiM's built-in EQ anyway. Especially if you are replacing a speaker's proprietary EQ box.

Maybe it doesn't work while playing. Change a setting then play. Make it something obvious like dropping the overall gain by 10 dB.

Yes I'll try. The WooM Home EQ works while playing

I am looking to do the same thing. Ideally, I would like to use the Wiim ultra to have analog output and digital output simultaneously (something I suggested and they said they would add.) I also need to adjust the delay on the analog channel with a programmable eq curve for the Bose 901 independently from the digital one through the optical output. I want to send an analog delayed and signal with a heavy eq'd signal that is on a curve with the volume to for my Bose 901 speakers and leave the optical output for my digital B&O system in the same room. If they made that with balanced outputs I would just write them a blank check. It currently takes 6 boxes to do this and only because of a lack of dev. I'm using 2 Wiim's when the ultra gets here. I already ordered it. Right now I cannot control the timing but I have the rest working.

I think they said they’d look into adding such - a recent ticket replied that they’re not designed to support such so I wouldn’t hold my breathe for a solution tbh.
