Local music

I have the Wiim Mini. Wiim Home app version 2.10.9.240801.
I just bought a new phone. I transferred everything with Smart Switch from my old phone (Xperia 10ii) to the new one (Galaxy A55), including the Wiim Home app.

I have music stored on an SD card (app. 5,000 tracks in the "music" folder). Using this SD card on my previous phone, everything went well, app. 5,000 track showed up in the Wiim Home app Library.
Using the same SD card in my new phone every track shows up twice in the Wiim Home Library when I choose My Library > My Music > Local > Songs. So, according to the library, I now have app. 10,000 tracks. I checked the SD card music folder with File Manager + and everything is okay, no double tracks.

When I check the SD card's music folder in My Library > My Music > Local > Folders, it correctly says app. 5,000 tracks...

I deleted the app and reinstalled it: no change.

Does anyone know why this happens and how to fix this?

I recall tracks being shown more than once being reported a while ago.
I though (although my memory could be well be wrong) that wiim applied a fix.
Might be worth a quick search for 'double" or similar in this forum to see what pops up.
And / or sent a feedback message to wiim via the app.
