Mini DSP UMIK-1 microphone connection problem to iPad & iPhone using RoomFit

Hi all

Newbie here so thanks in advance for your patience

I would like to use “room fit” with an external microphone (UMIK-1 latest usb c type) however on plugging it in to either my iPad (10) or iPhone (13) via the lightening socket it’s not being recognised (no blue power on light on mic) by the Wiim app and so I am unable to connect it as no button is displayed on the app.

I am guessing it’s something simple, but just can figure it out.

I have already sent a ticket and was told following my initial enquiry that room correction is now room fit, but following a further question regarding the above connection situation I have not received any further advice

You will need to use the Apple camera adapter in order to use your microphone with an iPhone or iPad with a lightning connector.

I am guessing that the cabling configuration would be :-

Camera adaptor into iPad/iPhone then lightning socket on camera adaptor to a lightening lead for power whilst the Umik-1 goes into the usb on the camera adaptor?
