More PEQs for use in RoomFit

I'd like to see more than 10 PEQs available in RoomFit. Although it might seem like overkill, I think it could help with fine-tuning the room-correction curve. What do you think about this?

Did you know you can stack PEQ on RoomFit?

You can use 20 bands per channel, for a total of 40 bands. Personally, this is sufficient for me, but since I connect Pro to the sub out of Amp Ultra to operate 2 subs, I can use a total of 80 bands.😂

You can but you need to use third party software to generate the extra PEQs and then manually enter the values. It would be a lot easier if there was an option to use 20 bands for Roomfit while sacrificing independent PEQ.

Hmm, I can't agree. I'd like them to keep the manually adjustable independent PEQ. Simply increasing RoomFit to 20 bands wouldn't be a problem.

Exactly my point. It would be nice if the RoomFit algorithm could use 20 PEQs per channel so the correction curve could be more fine-grained. Of course, users should be able to manually tweak the resulting PEQ parameters. I don’t know how much computational burden doubling the number of PEQs would imply during real-time playback, but computing the output of a biquad difference equation is quite inexpensive. Perhaps in the next iteration of streamers and streamer amps, WiiM could consider a more powerful ARM platform.
