I have multiple WiiM amps all successfully connected to Amazon music. I want to connect them to Alexa so I can control via voice. It took a while but I eventually got one connected and working but none of the others show up so there is no way to tell Alexa to play music on a specific amp.

Is it possible to support multiple and if so how?

Thanks

In the WiiM home app, you need to connect each WiiM amp in turn to Alexa on the Browse tab as it’s not done at app but device level. Sounds like you’ve done that for one but not for the others.

I’d also recommend renaming the WiiM devices in the Alexa app and to avoid using “WiiM” as part of the name as Alexa doesn’t easily understand that.

After that you should be able to use them with Alexa like you would any amazon echo device

I see what I did wrong. I didn’t realize that you have to elect the device in the device tab and then go to Browse tab for each one. I thought that enabling at the browse tab enabled for all

Thanks

Arguably you could have a different music account for different devices on your network so it makes sense to do it as they have :)
