My thoughts on the Vibelink Amp

If we knew what the power supply voltage was compared to the Amp and Amp Pro that would help. It would be strange for the marketing dept to lie about the Vibelink but not the Amp

Looks like 48V to me for the Vibelink. I checked my Amp test, it was 20V 40V. No idea about the Amp Pro, I wasn't The Chosen One.

On the pro amp, analog input is passed thru an ADC, while on the vibelink it isn’t. Surely this has already been said time after time e.g.

excuse me...but not really clear, at least for me, this story of non-digitized entry...
(power side not far from the pro amp it is possible that despite their real cooling efforts...they were stuck at max watt)

I.e, could be unique to his setup, hence not relevant to anyone else

Soundstage network provides the most complete and reliable measurements. I would sent the amp there for testing.

Sure, it was 40V, my mistake.

Eh, that's how they were designed. 100% volume and maximum amplitude signal doesn't clip. ASR test results confirm this.

But if I had to guess what would you mean (which I don't like that) is asking what technology of class d I would want to implement.... Ncore or purify is the standard answer...

and I have neither one nor the other....hihi ...but I forbid anyone from doing it ;-)

( the 52 pffb more than 55 seems to allow things that may be more interesting in this family of not expensives solutions)

Well, that's obvious, I thought that you meant digitized inputs.
Although sometimes it can clip, for intersample overs.
