Need help with Room Correction

This is a graph comparing the RC measurements of the built-in microphones on my 4 phones and tablets. (This test was done 5 months ago.)

There is little error from device to device in the range from 80Hz to 4kHz.

*The pink line is the larger tablets. Also, due to my mistake only Xiaomi 12T pro used different target curves. Therefore, please focus to the orange and white lines 😅

I understand, but how can you assess whether there is too little or too much bass below 80Hz if you don't measure it using RC in this range?

This is the result of placing an Android phone in the corner of my room and measuring the sweep of the WiiM RC.

Even with the phone's built-in mic, I can find low-frequency peaks and dips to some degree.

Relative comparison tests can be done with the phone's built-in microphone as well. I have previously used the built-in microphone to compare measurements near the speaker and at the listening point, and to investigate increases and decreases in standing waves at various points in the room. Those helped me to determine the placement of speakers and listening positions.

However I don't want to use the built-in mic on my Android phone anymore.

Edit:
My main reason for using PEQ is for physical room correction and placement of speakers etc. Ideally, I would not need to use PEQ 😁

The latest firmware and latest app that include multiple sweeps made difference in my system along with smoothing. I think it was breakthrough in comparison from earlier rc. John Lennon imagine never sounded this good. It’s scary good! I don’t use external mic. I use the mic from iPhone 16 pro max.

You need one more preset button on the remote to perfectly play your 5 favorite songs 😁.

As already said, I believe the situation is different for iOS and Android. However, my Galaxy Tab also has a measurement similar to the IMM-6C, so it would work to some extent.

At any rate, I'm glad things worked out for you 😊.

You don’t like Apple devices so you have both?
