New issue: squeezelite searching for LMS on WiFi (connected on wired)

Hello. I indicate "new" because my Wiim Ultra connected to LMS until a few days ago. I cannot tell if a recent firmware upgrade caused the issue:

1. Ultra and LMS server are on the same LAN. I can ping the Ultra from the LMS server, and can ping both LMS server and the findingUltra from any other device on the network.

2. To try to reconnected, I go to Settings / Squeezelite. In available LMS it shows "Searching" then "No available LMS found".

3. What is very strange is that the Ultra is searching on a WiFi network - "Available LMG / On xxxxx Network", but I am NOT connected via that network, but wired network. That network xxxxx has been updated, and is NOT used by the Ultra. In fact the password for SSID xxxxx was changed several months ago.

Questions:
- is this a bug, or is there any sequence on the Ultra which can force the LMS search to check the correct (Ethernet) network instead to a non-connect WiFi network?
- if forced to, I can change to use WiFi instead of Ethernet, but on the app, on device settings / Network Status I see Network Connection = Ethernet, but don't see any option to change to WiFi. Can I switch to WiFi without a hard reset?

My WiiM Amp also says that it is searching for LMS on the WiFi network when both Amp and LMS are ethernet connected. So that could just be a display bug. It does find LMS after a few seconds though. Is your LMS definitely running? Maybe try restarting LMS.

Welcome.

Just pull the ethernet plug to switch to wifi.
Although hopefully it's a not the permanent solution.

I've set static IP's for my NAS, Squeezeboxes/Wiim, Raspberry Pi, all other devices.

Never had a problem with Ultra or Squeezebox connecting to the squeencenter/Lyrion etc

The real issue is that it's not finding LMS on the Ethernet. And the wireless network displayed is really NOT connected, even though it shows the SSID. This is definite, as the SSID's password was changed a few months ago.

Even pulling the plug, the system does not ask for password after a long time trying to connect to the SSID.

In the end I had no choice but to do a hard reset. Only then was I able to enter a new password for this SSID, start squeezelite and locate the LMS server. Of course I lost my settings, including the room EQ setting.
