New member here...

Thanks for the add. Planning to lurk around here to gather up some info for WiiM Pro vs WiiM mini.

Only reason for either one is just to stream Qobuz (in my office) on my vintage Sansui 881 receiver. Don't need it for my HT in the living room, already streaming through my new Yamaha RX-A6A. ✌️

Welcome.
Both can stream Qobuz from within the wiim app, with the limited functionality that brings.
Both can be used to stream Qobuz from something like bubbleupnp (android) or mconnect (apple). I can't comment on mconnect, but bubble's Qobuz interface is pretty good.
You can stream via chromecast to the Pro from the Qobuz app; 96khz max, not gapless.
The hope / belief / expectation is that both the mini and pro will support Qobuz Connect, when it arrives. No guarantees though!

I get the impression from your post that the office is a home office.
I think some people have had challenges connecting a wiim to a corporate office network.

Thank you. I just want to use it so I can stream Qobuz (via Wi-Fi) using my Vintage Sansui receiver & KEF speakers in my private office upstairs in my house, just to clarify.
I've never heard of Qobuz connect. Are there any anticipated dates for it's release? THX

No dates, but there seems to be a strong desire from Qobuz to enable it on Wiim devices before any others (or as one of the first).

Edit: This was told during a joint session of Wiim and Qobuz

Thanks for sharing . For those who are interested in the full interview:

There is also a somewhat bold statement in there regarding connect feature:

[...] This feature will allow users to play Qobuz right out of our app to whatever audio hardware they choose.

Yes, they (Qobuz) already mentioned that WiiM will be one of the first to benefit from Connect feature. Even tough at that point in time, no detailed date was shared.
