So on Room fit (iPhone at least), it rotates the screen upside down automatically...

Great if you standing and holding it....

But I place it in my seating position mounted at ear height, and then move out the way. That means, as the mic is point towards the speaker I have to navigate room fit upside... I get the convience of this concept... but please at least make it optional that it flips upside down!

Also a countdown before the room fit starts, like 5... 4... 3... 2... 1... would be cool (I recall my Kicker car amp does something similar, not a countdown but gives you time to get out of the way or what ever you need to do).

Why would you get out of the way? You listen "in the way" of what your system's playing.

Are you placing the phone close to a wall? If you stand behind the microphone then the screen rotation wouldn't be an issue. Having said that the screen rotation is optional when using an external microphone so it could be made optional with the phone mic as well.
