Optical input: extremrly low volume from Tv

I have connected the Ultra to my Sony tv via spdif cable, but the volume from stereo speakers is veeeery low, even setting pre-level to +10: rotating the volume knob on my stereo amplifier to max, the sound is barely audible and the vu meter on the Ultra delivers feeble signs of life. Using my old €30 Fiio Taishan as dac, everything is ok with loud sound even at 9 o'clock position.

SOLVED! I Apologize for my post, the solution was simple: turn up the volume on the smartphone, it was near 0. Now optical input works perfectly. Sorry
