PCM audio 5.1

Hello,

Just like Dolby Digital support has recently been enabled, is there currently any way to play a multichannel (5.1) PCM signal over HDMI on the WiiM Ultra, for example to handle the PCM output of a SACD player?
If not, do you know whether this capability is being considered?

Just set output to stereo.

Or just buy a AVR.

Dolby Digital (lossy compression is applied) is the only surround format supported by the WiiM devices with HDMI input.

If you connect your SACD player to your TV and the TV is set to decode everything into Dolby Digital 5.1, then you can listen to the 5.1 content from your SACD. But lossy compression will be applied.
