Phono issue

Hi, when I connect my Audio Technica AT-LP120XUSB turntable into the phono inputs there's a static sound, even with the record player off, when connected to the Line in input it's absolutely fine. Any help please?

Buzzing/Humming when using Phono Input

I am having an issue when using the phono input on my new WiiM Ultra. No matter how I connect my turntable there is a persistent buzzing/humming noise. Do not believe it is a problem with the turntable or RCA with ground cable, as when I connect though my old preamp and use the line in input on...

It seems like you have the turntable phono preamp turned on. If this is the case you need to connect to the turntable to the LINE IN in order for it to work properly.

There is a switch on the back of the turntable to bypass the phono preamp in the turntable. If you set this switch to off then (and only then should) you connect the turntable to the PHONO IN on the WiiM.

All sorted, I unplugged all of our TP link passthrough powerline adapters and it's now silent. Surprising how much interference these things give off. Future reference for anyone else having the same issue.
