We have the WiiM Home set up in four places at home... we can use our Samsung phones, Chromebooks, PC, etc.. to use Tidal HiFi Connect to them. Works great (well, the PC is still sort of a science project).

My wife has a Samsung Watch 7. I recently bought the 8 -which I have used yet.

Can my wife play Tidal Hifi Connect to the WiiM Ultra using her Samsung Watch?

THAT would make me her hero...

Is this helpful?

1. Use the WearOS browser.
2. Connect to Tidal on the phone and control it from watch.

Thanks, but no, it's not useful.

If we have to use both the phone and the watch, then might as well just use the phone ( and the tablet ).

For stuff like pause... we can always use the WiiM remote.

Thanks for the heads up.

It appears she can open a browser on her watch and use Tidal Connect via the Tidal website. Have you tried it?

No, the point of this is to keep it as simple as possible. If she can open the Tidal application in her watch and then connect to Tidal Connect then that's the same way she does it in her tablet and phone.

I don't believe she's using her watch to browse the web. Just to do the health checks, to find out who's calling, read her texts and find her phone when it's missing.

Thanks.
