Another thing... I'm running it with a 44,400 mAh capacity Halo Bolt ACDC that provides an AC socket with 120VAC/60Hz. It was fully charged when I started. After playing around with this for about 90 minutes, the power brick is down to 3 out of 4 bars.
So, I might have 6 hours of battery play...
Is there a big difference in power running WiFi, wired Ethernet, Bluetooth or wired AUX?
In any event, there is no way the FAA will allow me to check (or carry) anything over 27,000 mAh batteries. They sort of frown on things that might start a fire over the ocean.
WISH LIST.... make the speaker with a USB-C power connector. This will make the speaker lighter and it can then be powered by a multi USB-C charger. When travelling we take one )or two) big USB chargers ( 6 to 10 ports ) to power/charge our Chromebooks, phones, lamps, etc... We also take a couple of small dual/tirple USB-C chargers for our night stands. So we're already carrying the power supplies, Lord knows that if you could drop the weight of the speaker down to 1.5 Kg, it would help A LOT.
