Plex use when not at home

I run a plex server from home off my synology NAS. Word fine on everything except the Wiim app when I am not at home. I purchased a Wiim airplay 2 and would like to stream music from my plex server located at home but in the office at work. The wiim app allows me to log in, but the library is unavailable. I did a search prior to purchasing and AI said it would work. Does it?

AI trips up again

I understand it's a WiiM Mini you have. Only the WiiM Ultra currently supports Plex Remote Access. It arrived in firmware around mid January and there's been no sight of it on other models. I'd go so far as to say the Mini likely won't get it due to its lack of ram and cpu resources compared to its siblings.

If you're using Android and on the same LAN as your WiiM then Symfonium should be able to achieve this, though you may need to use Symfonium as a proxy (WiiM pulls the stream from Symfonium rather than directly from your Plex server).
