Problem Wiim Sub Pro

The Wiim subwoofer farts and crackles randomly while watching TV. It doesn't matter if the TV is connected via optical input or RCA.

You ought to change the frequecy cutoff and gain. Neither make sense.

Consider a gain of +5dB and a cutoff of 80Hz and see how it sounds. Tweak from that point at will.

Please tell us how the TV, streamer, and Sub Pro are connected.

The sub is connected to the Wiim Pro Plus via Wi-Fi. I also checked the wired connection - no change. The TV is connected to the Wiim Pro Plus via optical input. I also checked via RCA - no change.

Do you hear any noise coming from the speakers? If there's no issue with Tidal but you only hear noise when playing TV, I think you can normally hear noise coming from the speakers as well.

As @adias mentioned, if you changed the crossover to 80Hz, do you still hear noise?

Also, unplug the Sub Pro's power cable, wait a while, then plug it back in to see if the issue is resolved.

Czy słyszysz jakiś hałas dochodzący z głośników? Jeśli nie ma problemu z Tidalem, ale słyszysz hałas tylko podczas oglądania telewizji, to myślę, że normalnie słyszysz też hałas dochodzący z głośników.

Jak wspomniał @adias, czy po zmianie zwrotnicy na 80 Hz nadal słyszysz szum?

Odłącz także kabel zasilający Sub Pro, odczekaj chwilę, a następnie podłącz go ponownie i sprawdź, czy problem został rozwiązany.

Do you still have the WiiM Pro Plus volume fixed at 100, as this will not work with your Sub Pro. You need to use the volume control on the Pro Plus, and then the Sub Pro volume will vary depending on the Pro Plus volume setting.

What does that mean? You need to control the volume in one place, the WiiM.

The subwoofer level is exactly proportional to the WiiM Pro Plus volume setting. As soon as you change the volume "a little" on your amplifier, the balance will be upset. That's still the same issue.
