It's possible that it's inherent in the firmware update but I was using toslink for months and it's the coax that had the problemsI'm having the same disconnect issue, mine connects for less that a second.
Send to be related to the latest firmware update.
Will submit a ticket.
Yes, rebooted the router, and the WiiM Pro. Using WiiM's Line Out to my amp's CD/AUX.Have you tried rebooting you router? The few times it’s happened a quick internet router reboot fixed the issue. I’m using Fios internet with the extended WiFi and it tends to be an issue with the router extended modular that cause my issue.
I want to thank the Wiim Support for taking care of meI've been experiencing random disconnects during playback of late that I didn't have happen before of late, seeming to get more frequent
I also seen in a different venue, others complain of this same situation
Have anybody else had these issues?

I just did. Same issueIs that Tidal on Android?
Have you tried to exclude the Tidal app from the phones battery management, which is often way to aggressive for apps not whitelisted by the manufacturer.
If you have a second Tidal Connect-capable WiiM device or access to one, does the issue occur there? If you use a Tidal desktop application to send content to your Ultra via Tidal Connect, does it likewise disconnect every 3rd song?Tidal disconnects every single 3rd change of song in My Wiim Ultra app for Android

It's Tidal app corruption, I have my Wiim Ultra connected via Ethernet, I switched to wireless 5G and the same thing. I guess it's also possible the app has some corruption that clearing the app's data and cache might fix. Alternatively, you could try uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Definitely report it to WiiM via the WHA and to Tidal via whatever mechanism they use.
I've tried to reproduce this using my Android Tidal app (v. 2.145.0, updated on Jan 24, 2025) and my Ultra via Tidal Connect and I cannot (with a mixed personal playlist). Now my Ultra is on the Qobuz Connect beta firmware from 12/23/2024, and I'm a couple of versions behind current GA, so if your firmware updated recently, I'd be more inclined to pin the blame on that. Or maybe it's an incompatibility between the most recent versions of the Tidal app and Ultra firmware, so difficult-to-impossible to guess what's broken and who will need to fix it. The more people report it to both companies, the more quickly it will get fixed. It's Tidal app corruption, I have my Wiim Ultra connected via Ethernet, I switched to wireless 5G and the same thing.
