Rename of inputs should also show on the display

The App allow the line in and optical in to be renamed, but the names do not transfer to the ultra display. If you then use the display to change the input, the names do not show.

I hear you. And there was this thread in November.

But I think January was first time that @WiiM Support acknowledged and promised something, and they said it would be delivered on “the upcoming update” so it sounded imminent.

Yes. Many features that has been asked for is not happening but also many others do happen. So a matter of priorities I guess.

Renamed inputs cannot be changed back to the original name. For example: If 'Optical In’ is renamed to ’Toslink’ it then appears with Toslink written over Optical In. If later on one decides to remove the added designation, a null entry is not accepted, it always requires a name in the field. This was pointed out to @WiiM Team.
