Roast my setup

As an old guy, I sometimes reminisce and think of the simpler days when we had Peter Belt and his tweaks, when you’d maybe try them, shake your head and then simply move on. A stark difference to the vitriol that often accompanies any such attempted tweaks these days… :(

The difference is that Peter Belt's tweaks, although many people thought they were batshit crazy, were relatively inexpensive, so there wasn't much harm done.

Nowadays, the snake-oil merchants are charging gullible customers batshit crazy prices for their merchandise. It's a different ballgame.
