I can't seem to get Room Correction to work. I'm using the app on an android. As soon as I click 'Next' a 'failed' message appears. I've rebooted both the device and my phone, checked microphone permissions and restarted router. Both phone and device are on the same network. Any ideas?

Is the Ultra firmware and WiiM app the latest version?

rebooted the device.
Rebooting is not the same as power cycling. If it's still not working go to your app and delete cache, then delete data and then delete the app (android) then power cycle the wiim device ( remove the plug from the wall for a couple of mins) then plug back in the device and reinstall the app and try again.

You can also submit a ticket via the Feedback section of the WiiM app after running a room correction and seeing an error. A device log will be sent to help resolve the issue.

And just to rule out the obvious: Your devices not only need to be connected to the same local network. They also need to access the Internet.

Just in case you have any firewall rules in use to block Internet access ...

There's another option if its an ultra. Go to device info under settings and join the beta test for seperate rc and eq.. This will take you to another firmware version. You will find that some of the more recent firmware updates won't apply to you but for me, it's not an issue. If it's not a ultra you have then I don't have any other wiim streamers to check if this option is available to you.

Tried all these suggestions but still getting the 'failed' message. It's a Wiim Ultra and I've selected the beta option box.1000021729.jpg

Ok. So your best option is to try again and when you get the failed message go to more/feedback in the wiim home app and raise a ticket. This will give wiim a chance to look at your device logs immediately after the failure if you see what mean? If you get a email from wiim, please reply to let them know you need assistance.
Good luck 👍

How do I raise a ticket? All I get is the 'failed' message. There's no 'more' option that pops up. There's a general feedback facility in the app settings but nothing specific to the failed message...

How do I raise a ticket?
OK, so in the wiim home app, go to the menu at the bottom right of most of the screens and you will see a three dot menu with the word more beside it. Press this and it will take you to another list with feedback on it, then fill in the details under (OTHER) at the bottom of the page and you should get an email to say they have received your ticket. Then reply to the email saying you would like a response
