Room fit don't work

Hello everyone,

I have a problem with my WiiM Ultra: the Room Fit function doesn't seem to work. I'm using a Pixel 9 to control the device.

I successfully completed the environmental correction process, generated the equalisation curve, saved and applied. However, I don't feel any difference in the audio output. Even when I try to "torture" her by making massive and noticeable changes to the dB levels at specific frequencies, the sound remains exactly the same.

One thing that seems suspicious: every time I enter the Room Fit menu, I notice that the toggle switch switches from OFF to ON for a fraction of a second, as if the function was actually disabled in the background.

Has anyone else encountered this issue? Do you have any suggestions on how to solve it?

Thanks!

Hi
That is normal.

Currently, I can see three My Profile sections on your RoomFit screen. Does the sound remain unchanged when switching between these three?

Please unplug the device's power cable and leave it disconnected for a while.

Could you please post screenshots of the filter screens for all three profiles?

HI. Thank you for the answer. Yes, the sound remains the same regardless of the profile I select among the three. It doesn't change even when I completely deactivate the Room Fit function. I'm attaching the screenshots, let me know what you think.

Ciao.
I guess that's the EQ screen.
Since EQ allows you to set different profiles for each input, you need to switch the EQ for the input you're currently playing.

Did you switch between the three profiles on this RoomFit screen to hear the difference in sound?

HI. Yes, I tried it this morning: taking advantage of the fact that the family was out, I managed to turn up the volume to 50/100. Moving from the "Auto" profile to "Q5040", I actually notice a slight difference. Maybe my expectations were too high, or maybe my ears are no longer trained to perceive differences at lower volumes. In any case, the sound quality is good, so I can't complain.
