I just used RoomFit for all three Wiims in my house--two Pros, and one mini. Dramatically improved the sound for all three setups. I did not need to modify the curves created by Roomfit. I initially used the built in mic on my iPhone 16 just to compare with external mike. The resulting sound was too sibilant. Then I used a calibrated external mike--the IMM-6c--and the result was perfect to my ears. Although the three Wiims fed three completely different stereo equipment in three very different rooms with different acoustics, Roomfit made the sound characteristics of all three systems very similar. I got the best and consistent results with the following settings for all three Wiims (all other settings were system default).
Curve: B+K
Correction Freq range: 20Hz - 4kHz
Max gain: 6dB
External Mic: Enabled with calibration file
Moving Mic: enabled
Mic pointed up.
When prompted to move the mike, I just walked around the room slowly, moving the phone up and down slowly. During the entire process, I had the IMM-6c pointed up.
