Screen Awake at Volume Change, Off after 1-4 Seconds

When watching movies or listening to music at night in the dark, it would be so nice to have the option for the display to be off except to turn on when changing volume and turn back off after 1-4 seconds of no inputs. (Yes, this can be configured in setting, but only for the volume knob and remote, not tidal connect, chromecast, or hdmi cec [the only ways i use to control it]).

Second very related request: volume level number to display larger when it apears and with a black background for seeing at a distance.
