Is the Sound Lite the same like the Sound, except the display and without remote?

For the Sound Lite: Can I use the plastic remote that comes with the Ultra? (Not the alu remote 2!)

It appears to be the same sound-wise. Some complained the screen was bright for bedroom use, so Lite resolves that.

Yes, you can use any WiiM Remote Control with the Sound Lite.

Ryan: Before we get too deep, let's start with the basics. We just announced both the WiiM Sound and the WiiM Sound Lite. What's the difference between the two?

Product Manager: The Sound Lite is essentially the same speaker without the screen and remote. Same drivers, same amplification, same AI RoomFit, same sound quality. We built it for people who don't need on-device control or who already have a preferred way to manage their music. Maybe they're always using their phone anyway, or they've got voice control set up throughout the house. The Lite gives them the same audio performance at a lower price point. The Lite is also a great choice for surround speakers or other applications where the screen isn't necessary. It's also cleaner visually if you want something more minimal. But if you value having a convenient on-device screen to use and having an included remote control, the Sound is a great choice.

Yeah, @QuarryHunslet is correct and responded before I posted. Any WiiM remote will work with the WiiM Sound and Sound Lite. The original black plastic one, the newer metal Remote 2, and the new plastic cased Remote 2 Lite.
