WIIM Sound Lite configuration issue

I have a WIIM Amp ultra connected to two wired speakers and a subwoofer. I put the Sound Lite in another room. Music streams flawlessly, but when switching the amp ultra to HDMI for TV viewing, the sound persists on the sound lite, and causes a sync issue with the TV. I removed the group, but it still happens. When switching back to music, I have select the sound lite each time, otherwise there is no sound. This happens when grouped or un-grouped. How can I persist changes so the sound lite only plays when I am streaming music?

Welcome.

I think you'll need to wait for the "Input Sound Profile" feature to become available for the amp ultra.
It's currently in beta testing for the Ultra.

To easily get to the tutorial, select Wiim Support on the menu bar at the top of this site then search for sound profile; should be the first hit.

Currently, the only option is to mute WiiM Sound Lite when watching TV.

Yes, but then it simply being in the group increases lip sync issues.
@Tictac This can be partly remediated by reducing the group audio delay for hdmi input to 70ms.
Audio Input, Group Audio Delay menu.
Best to dismantle the group though for hdmi and use it again for music, for now..

You're absolutely right.
I completely forgot, but there's another way.

@Tictac
Set up a persistent group with WiiM Sound Lite (WSL) as the leader. When playing music, play it through WSL. (If you use Spotify, you can connect to this group.)

When you want watch TV, turning on the TV should turn on Amp Ultra and switch the input to HDMI. (Assuming Amp Ultra's CEC and Auto-Sensing are enabled.)

When the Amp Ultra's input switches to HDMI, the group will automatically disconnect.

To listen to music again, play music through WiiM Sound and select the persistent group from the playback screen.

This might save you a little hassle. But please choose whichever method is easiest for you.🙂
