I’ve had a Sonos 5 (1st gen) for many years.
The sound is now very boomy and unpleasant, and I believe the room correction (Truplay) isn’t working properly. Anyway, as I had an empty house for a few hours, I decided to re-run it, but it won’t let me. I’ve been through everything, connecting the Sonos direct to my router, etc., but no joy.
This is the worst it’s ever been, though when I think back, from a year or so in, it’s always been flakey, regularly needing to reconnect, etc.
Anyway, today just prompted me to the fact that it’s not getting any better, and indeed, it’s all downhill from here.
Has anyone had both a Sonos 5 and a Sound or Sound Lite to compare? I appreciate the Sound is more of a Play 1/Era 100 size, but I’d be interested to hear others’ experiences and thoughts.
