Wiim Sound Lite to replace Dali Oberon 5's

Hello everyone. Been a while, hope everyone is doing well.

On my latest "let's see what's going on in the world of Wiim" - forum run down, I have fallen in love with the Wiim Sound Lite (stereo pair). Or rather, I have fallen for the idea of being able to get great sound out of something that my wife approves of visually. This setup is in our main living room, so it caters to both tv-sound (through Wiim Ultra) and streaming, as well as an occasional vinyl record.

Currently my setup consists of a Wiim Ultra, two Dali Oberon 5 floor standers powered by two Fosi Audio V3 Mono's, and an Argon S850 sub.

Now the question is if it is at all feasible that I will enjoy the sound from two stereo-mathced Sound Lite's, instead of my Oberon 5's? I have not been able to find any real reviews of the Sound yet?

I am strongly considering giving it a try and just order a set of Sound Lite's...But before doing so, I just wonder if someone here has any knowledge that might sway me in one or the other direction. Are Wiim speakers cutting it or should they stick to streamers?

Ps. I am considering also getting a Wiim Sub Pro at some point, as I really enjoy the Wiim framework. I also run a Wiim Pro Plus in the dining room (hooked up to my old Denon receiver).

I really appreciate anyone reading along and perhaps even sharing some know how. Thanks.

It's not whatya got, it's whatya do with it.

It's also worth noting that the WiiM sub is not aimed primarily at wham bam movie track use. It's designed for listening to music.

What does "listening to music" sub mean?

My music sub is 13" 1000W and it sounds great

What does "musical playback" mean? You don't know what "listening to music" means but argue about "musical playback"?

Who said it's better because it is smaller?

I wouldn't my sub to look like a NAS :ROFLMAO:

£450 I'd rather get 10" or 12" sealed box not a "subwoofer shaped object"

Any facts of the performance of that sub shaped object?

Nope.
You're entitled to your opinion that you wouldn't swap floorstanders for a pair of Sound Lite. @Giro413 has been asking for opinions. I don't know why it matters if the speakers are floorstanders or bookshelves, but well.

The thing is, if @Giro413 still decides to go with a pair of WiiM Sound Lite (for whatever reasons) then the WiiM Sub Pro is the only option to add a subwoofer. It's as simple as that. ;)

Thanks for the advice, All.

Will ponder on my choices for a while. Probably waiting for a proper review before potentially pushing the Sound Lite button.

Kind of want to try them and let my own ears be the judge. Problem with that scenario is that someone else’s sense of aesthetics might influence the decision once the smaller Sonos-like things arrive. ;)

Owning a Sound I would also take the room size into consideration regarding volume. The Sound is nice and the volume is sufficient for a bedroom, a kitchen and casual listening in a living room. But I would not want them as my main speakers in a larger room. You might reach their usable volume max. sooner than desirable.

Just use them as another system. Bedroom, kitchen, Workshop etc
