Spotify Connect Always Enabled ??

Hi,
in "More Streaming Services" from WiiM App (Android), Spotify Connect is Always Enabled.
Why is this option labeled “Always Enabled”? I never use Spotify.
I can't disable it.

I think it's somehow baked into the firmware, unlike the others listed there.
You can remove it from Music Services though so it doesn't appear in the Browse screen.

Because that is what Spotify demands from all manufacturers of (certified) connect devices, to make it as seamless as possible.
Again, it is a passive service when not in use. Nothing to worry about.

The Spotify feature will be "invisible" to you as long as you don't explicitly open their app on your phone/computer. It is a simple broadcast on your network, which should have practically no impact on performance if not in use.
