After my reboot Of Wiim AMP, Spotify connect now recognize two WiiM AMP devices. I marked the one that doesn’t work. Does anyone know How to remove it from the recognized devices?

I don’t have any option for it (like three dots on the right that I have for valid device).

Yes, I am the same way.
Perhaps it has something to do with this problem. At the moment I can't find a way to remove it.

I can connect through Spotity app on Iphone, it's just that I have my Wiim Amp as two recognized devices instead of one...one work, one doesn't.

I don't know yet whether the problem is with Spotify or WiiM.

Either way, we will have to wait a bit longer, but the support team suggested resetting the WiiM device and disabling Chromecast. (Resetting will result in loss of presets and device settings.)

In your case at least Spotify connect is working, so I would recommend to watch it for a while.

I've had this issue with Spotify in the past. Not just with WiiM (in fact, there have been few issues since I started using WiiM products), but also with different Pioneer amps.

Sometimes they wouldn't show up at all for a little while, only to come back in double pack.

That makes me think that Spotify is at least "involved" ...

Yes, I believe this is due to the February 10 Spotify app update. However, it is unclear if this is a bug in Spotify or an issue that needs to be improved on the WiiM side. The team's answers also seemed vague.

What is odd is that non-Chromecast compatible Echo and Yamaha AVR can Spotify connect fine, and Chromecast is working. The only devices that cannot connect are WiiM with Chromecast enabled. This seems contradictory at first glance.

According to an update from the team, this is an issue that Spotify needs to resolve. (As they first said.)

I am not a PR department and have no further information 😂.
