Spotify Spotify DJ voiceover audio bugs on WiiM

When playing Spotify dj on WiiM in a group I've noticed the first 0.5 seconds bugs out then repeats

WiiM amp ultra upstairs, WiiM ultra downstairs

Example if it's saying "that was xyz band..."

What it does is say "tha....that was xyz band...", like it starts, cuts off and then restarts?

Tried it with both devices as master

Sounds a very specific and reproducible issue, so submitting a ticket to WiiM via the more/feedback section in the WiiM home app might be the best route as they’ll be able to inspect your device logs for clues.
