Spotify Spotify doesn't see WiiM Pro, HiFi Cast does. Why?

Hi,

WiiM Pro is connected to LAN via Ethernet cable, and, say, HIFi Cast (being installed on Android device) does see (and play to) WiiM Pro as Chromecast device. But Spotify (being installed on the same device) doesn't. How to resolve the issue?

Last upgrade is installed. Android version is 12.

Interesting, it did help, thanks. Reminds me Windows 95 - "if you have any problem just reboot the computer".

Are there some rules to follow to to keep visibility stable?
On the way I have assigned a stable IP to the Pro.

Tbh, given the complexities of networking, with different routers, different apps’ implementation of standards etc, it’s a surprise anything works From time to time, firmware will have bugs, overflowing cache etc that a reboot can help.

At least we don’t have the blue screen of death much anymore

That's still valid today, no matter what operating system. It's just the easiest thing to try.

Having single boot Linux computers during 22 year (workstation, NAS, notebook...) I couldn't share the idea.
But this is completely another story.
