I don't get any info in the wiim app when using spotify connect either. Not used spotify for a while, but I'm sure it used to.
The Ultra screen shows 320kbps, 16 bit, 44.1khz, which is the only thing I'd expect anyway.

But Spotify only has one level, 320kbps.

Spotify quality is different for the free version and the format also changes whether you’re using it’s web version or not - see https://support.spotify.com/us/article/audio-quality/

Yes, my Spotify premium is the same as yours, the WiiM app no longer shows the rate. I am not sure when it was removed.



This is probably not a Spotify issue, as the Yamaha musiccast app shows the rates.

It took “once Spotify updates” to mean “if sometime in the future Spotify updates” I.e. maybe they’d never change the UX to show bitrate info…
